Update to the OBS Sharing Day

PLs, do take note that the OBS Sharing Day & PLTC Briefing will now be held on the 1st Dec (Saturday) from 0830 - 1300.

We will all meet at the Concourse at 0830 sharp.

Nadhirah & Afiqah will be planning the programme. The Peer Leaders who attended OBS will now need to meet and discuss the items you need to present to all of us. We expect a good show!

As for the rest of the PLs, please keep the day free. Lunch will be provided. Be in your Fajar sports attire.

Till then, have a great Mega Camp. See you all real soon!

OBS Sharing Day & PLTC Briefing

All Sec 3 PLs, get ready!

24th November, Saturday, from 0830 - 1300 will be the date of the OBS Sharing Day and PLTC Briefing.

For the Peer Leaders who went to OBS, I hope you are well-rested. You will now need to meet up again, to put together a powerful and interesting sharing session, and we want to learn about your experiences.

I'm sure OBS was an extraordinary experience for you.

So, show us your photos. Teach us new games. Teach us new cheers. Teach us new ice-breaker and team-building games. Teach us new songs. Share with us all the activities that you went through. Share your memories and experiences with us.

You may use my laptop to present your 'lesson' to us in the classroom.

Attendance for all Sec 3 Peer Leaders is important and necessary.

If for some good reason you are unable to attend, as usual, I expect the simple courtesy of informing me personally in advance.

Of course, I will also be doing a detailed briefing for all of you for the upcoming PLTC. It is necessary for me to say that the PLTC is one of the most important camps in the year. Raising up student leaders is not a small matter and the school strongly believes in student leadership. So we must do an outstanding job.

Another piece of good news (in addition to the OBS sharing and the PLTC briefing) is that lunch is provided.

Get to work! I am looking forward to having a fruitful and enriching sharing from you all on the 24th Nov. Till then.

Outward Bound Singapore

A great adventure lies waiting for all those Peer Leaders who are headed for Pulau Ubin on Monday.

I myself have fond and vivid memories of my own OBS experience, when I attended the 21-day camp. Till today, those adventure activities and those friendships remain unforgettable.

To the PLs, I will need you all to do this:

Pay attention to all the activities, cheers, songs and games that you go through, during this camp.

Take note of the instructions used, and how it is played/ cheered/ sung.

Take down notes.

Once OBS is over, there will be a Sharing Day (akin to the one organised by Hudz and Andreyana for the Young Leaders' Day) where those OBS PLs will have to share IN DETAIL about the new things you have learnt.

Another reason is also because we will like to bring in new ideas and use them in our camps, such as the PLTC and the Sec 2 Camp.

Remember your notebook, pen and a ziplock bag to keep them waterproof.

I am sure you all will have an immensely great time in OBS.

I will see you all for the OBS Sharing Day - cum - PLTC Briefing in late November. Details will be posted in this blog.

If you have any questions, do text me or drop me msg in this blog.

Take care and happy packing!
